Free Chicks Giveaway — Terms & Conditions
1. The promoter
This promotion — the "Swiggo Free Chicks Giveaway" — is run by Swiggo Limited, a company registered in Kenya ("Swiggo", "we", "us"). By entering, you accept these Giveaway Terms together with our general Terms & Conditions at swiggo.co.ke/terms.
2. Eligibility
The giveaway is open to individuals aged 18 or over who are resident in Kenya and able to receive the prize. Employees of Swiggo and their immediate families are not eligible. One entry per person; duplicate or fraudulent entries may be disqualified.
3. Promotion period
Entries open on 30 June 2026 and close on 31 July 2026 at 23:59 East Africa Time. Entries received after the closing time will not be considered.
4. How to enter (no purchase necessary)
Entering is free and takes two steps, both required: (1) register at swiggo.co.ke/giveaway with your name, phone number and email; and (2) send your entry to Swiggo on WhatsApp +254702990758 — your name, a 1-minute video explaining why you are the best fit for the chicks, and a short written note. No purchase is necessary. Incomplete entries may be disqualified.
5. The prize
There are 10 winners. Each winner receives 300 Kienyeji chicks + 1 month of feed. The prize is as stated, is not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative. Arrangements for collection or handover of the chicks and feed (including location and timing) are determined by Swiggo and communicated to each winner.
6. How winners are chosen
Winners are selected at Swiggo's reasonable discretion, based on the submitted video and written note. Swiggo's decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Notification and award
Winners will be selected and the chicks awarded on or around 21 August 2026. Winners will be notified directly on WhatsApp using the number they entered with. If a winner cannot be reached, does not respond within a reasonable time, or declines the prize, Swiggo may select an alternate winner.
8. Live animals
The chicks are live animals. Once handed over, their care, health, housing, feeding and survival are the winner's responsibility. Except as required by law, Swiggo does not guarantee survival, growth or laying rates after handover (see clause 7 of our general Terms & Conditions).
9. Use of your entry
By entering, you grant Swiggo permission — to the extent permitted by law and without further payment — to use your entry (including your name, video and written note) and, if you win, your name and image, to run, promote and publicise the giveaway across Swiggo's channels.
10. Not affiliated with any platform
This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with WhatsApp, Meta, or any other platform. When submitting your entry you must also comply with the relevant platform's own terms.
11. Taxes
Winners are responsible for any taxes or charges that may apply to their prize.
12. Your information
Information you provide is used to run the giveaway and contact winners, and is handled in line with our general Terms & Conditions and privacy practices at swiggo.co.ke/terms.
13. Fair play and changes
Swiggo may disqualify entries that are fraudulent, abusive, plagiarised, or that breach these terms, and may suspend, cancel or amend the giveaway where reasonably necessary (for example due to events beyond our control), without liability.
14. General
These Giveaway Terms supplement our general Terms & Conditions at swiggo.co.ke/terms; where there is any conflict about this giveaway, these Giveaway Terms apply. They are governed by the laws of Kenya.
